Welcome to the community of Kilronan where we hope you will find the site informative and interesting. Our population is small, being some 950 persons in all. Kilronan Mountain and Corrie Mountain occupy over half of the Parish. .

We are predominatley a farming commuity providing a great environment in which to rear a family. Traditional family values are still, by and large, alive and well. We like to meet and welcome strangers from other parts of Ireland and from overseas. We particularly like to hear from people with connections to the parish.

The Kilronan area has one of the most scenic and historical ares in Ireland. Our Lakes, rivers and hills give us very spectacular scenery. The waters are still pollution free and have plenty of fish and a countryside full of diverse bird and wildlife.
